Responsible for properly receiving, storing and issuing of all food and beverage, non-perishable and Birchstreet items for the Omni Chicago property.
Responsibilities:
• Inspect and unpack all Food and Beverage merchandise received, and stock/store it.
• Log all packages received daily in Birchstreet.
• Delivers packages to all departments on property.
• Assist Food and Beverage in keeping the storeroom properly organized.
• To follow/adhere to Omni Hotels operating procedures and local health regulations.
• Ability to operate hand truck, lift-jack, and dolly.
• Start a list for out of stocks/goods and not received "items" so that follow-up can be made.
• Verify that no POs are left open (all POs should be received and closed out).
• Assist in end-of-month inventories.
• Maintain incoming UPS, USPS and FedEx packages for hotel guests and office tower.
Qualifications:
• Must be flexible and able to work am and pm shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Computer and excellent customer service skills.
• Must be able to read and speak English. Basic math is required.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time, stoop, bend and lift items of moderate to heavy weight.
• Ability to work flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Working Environment:
• Interior of hotel.
• Frequent travel around property.
• Exposure to various weather conditions.

Tools & Equipment:
• Birch Street, MS Office
• Computer, copy machine
• Hand truck, lift-jack and dolly
