The Opportunity

Metalcorp is looking for a Storepersonto join the Warehouse Team,based in Toowoomba Metalcorp is a steel and aluminium distributor also specialising in rural products. It is the rural brand for the land with branches in regional locations and is trusted by customers for the quality of its products and the service of its people. The tailored product range includes specialised livestock handling equipment, building materials, structural and tubular steel, fencing, roofing, aluminium and more.

What Will You Do?

Bring your practical skills and energy, to a hands-on and varied role where you’ll receive, store, assemble, and load orders, and handle dispatch duties. You will also:

• meet and greet our valued customers
• safely load and unload trucks and customer pickups
• operate forklifts, cranes, and other machine processing equipment (including onsite truck driving)
• pick and pack from stock on-site to create specific orders
• look out for the safety of yourself and your co-workers

More About You

This is a physically active role suited to someone who enjoys being on their feet, working with their hands, and being part of a team that gets the job done. We’re looking for people with:

• holds a current forklift license
• effective communication skills and a can-do attitude
• the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail
• Problem-solving skills to provide safe, workable solutions
• Comfort with using computers and learning our in-house systems
• A commitment to safety and care for others
