The Coop Refinery Complex is hiring a Storekeeper Helper II in our Maintenance Department on permanent basis. This position requires on-site work and is based in Regina, Saskatchewan.

Shift: 4 days on then, 3 days off - 37.33 Hours/week

What you’ll do:

• Shipping, receiving, and storing of all goods and merchandise.
• Dispensing of inventory and consumable items handled through Stores.
• Maintaining records of all transactions within Stores according to established procedures and reordering consumable items as necessary.
• Taking physical inventory of all items in inventory as requested including checking stockroom tools and equipment for repair or replacement.
• Issuing required documents and maintaining records relating to Company PPE Programs.
• Other duties as required.

You will work closely with the Stores team in the Warehouse and will report into the Stores Supervisor. This team strives to demonstrate customer focus while supporting the business through dispensing, tracking, ordering, and maintaining all Stores transactions in support of the Maintenance and Reliability department.

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in Production, Trades and Maintenance and:

• Have completed Grade 12 including Chemistry 30, Physics 30, and Math/Algebra 30.
• Have superior mechanical aptitude, familiarity with refinery tools and equipment.
• Have good interpersonal and communication skills.
• This is physically demanding role that involves lifting (up to 55 lbs.), carrying, pulling, pushing, bending, kneeling, crouching, standing, walking, climbing, digging, raking, operating machines/tools, repetitive motions and working at heights.
