An Equal Opportunity Employer Dedicated to Affirmative Action and Workforce Diversity DFW SKYLINK – JOB POSTING Storekeeper Open Positions Reports to: Warehouse Coordinator Division: Transit Systems/Operations and Maintenance Location: DFW – TX Function: The Storekeeper issues parts and tools to Technicians. Performing shipping and receiving duties, the Storekeeper also cycle counts inventory, receives and stocks inventory parts. Duties and Responsibilities  Issues parts and tools to Technicians as needed or directed by Supervisors and Engineers.  Performs periodic stock counts, issues and credits parts and tools and prepares proper documentation.  Accepts material from carriers, signs for the material and loads/unloads material.  Inspects material for damage and ensures completeness of shipments.  Properly prepares and packages material for transport including preparing the necessary company and carrier documents.  Initiates and completes all required documentation  Maintains storage facilities including racks, shelves, bins and other locations.  Performs light mechanical assembly tasks.  Operates forklifts, pallet movers and other material handling equipment.  Light cleaning duties  Performs other related duties as required. Qualifications and Experience:  Inventory and inventory control experience is a must.  Must be able to work in a 24/365 work environment. Variable hours and shifts.  Must possess a valid driver's license and a good driving record.  Must pass 10-year background check for SIDA badging  A combination of education and experience may be acceptable.  Industrial stores experience is preferred.  2-4 years computer experience required -spreadsheets experience a plus.  Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team with minimum supervision. Education  High School Diploma or equivalent. Physical Requirements The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
