Job Title: Storekeeper

Work Place Flexibility: Onsite

Legal Entity: Entergy Arkansas, LLC

Note: This is an onsite role based out of the Entergy Service Center in McGehee, AR. Candidates from outside the area would be expected to relocate for this role; relocation assistance is not available for this posting. This postion will be titled Storekeepr 1st year, Storekeeper Over 1st year, Storekeeper Over 2nd year, or Storekeeper based on experience and demonstrated success at the Storekeeper level.

The Storekeeper is responsible for managing the company's material inventory, including ordering, receiving, stocking, and conducting physical inventory. They will lead and participate in safety meetings, monitor inventory levels, and coordinate with various departments to ensure efficient material management. The Storekeeper will also be responsible for data entry, processing materials for salvage or disposal, and maintaining a clean and orderly stores facility.

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Know and adhere to all company Safety rules and procedures.
  • Lead and participate in Safety meetings.
  • Ordering, receiving, and stocking of material inventory.
  • Conduct routine physical inventory.
  • Monitor and adjust automatic inventory replenishment levels.
  • Maintain communications with Network Mgr., O.C., Lineman, and EDC on material requests and concerns.
  • Monitor bad order transformers, meters, and lighting.
  • MAXIMO data entry to charge material and maintain FERC required files.
  • Ordering of non-stock items on Purchase requisition.
  • Coordinate resolution of problems and special shipments with the EDC and vendors.
  • Identify, inspect, prepare, and process materials for salvage or disposal.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly stores facility.
  • Must be able to file, organize and maintain records associated with Stores operations according to Records Rentation policies.
  • Be available for out-of-town storm response.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Minimum education required of the position:

Desired: High school diploma/GED

Minimum experience required of the position:

The following are the different levels of Storekeeper that the position can be filled as depending on the identified candidate’s qualifications

  • Storekeeper 1st year: 1-year of previous Storeroom experience
  • Storekeeper Over 1 year: 1+ years of previous Storeroom experience
  • Storekeeper Over 2 years: 2+ years of previous Storeroom experience
  • Storekeeper: 3+ years of previous Storeroom experience

Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position:

  • Operate forklifts and overhead cranes.
  • Perform basic math calculations.
  • Learn identity and nomenclature of standard electric utility material.
  • Basic Computer operation knowledge
  • Have a working knowledge of Maximo and other stores related software and applications.
  • Ability to drag or roll 110 lb. Coils of wire
  • Ability to lift 60-80 lbs.
