Job Title: Storekeeper - 1st year

Work Place Flexibility: Onsite

Legal Entity: Entergy Arkansas, LLC

Note: This is an onsite role based out of the Service Center in Little Rock, AR. Candidates from outside the area would be expected to relocate for this role; relocation assistance is not available for this posting. This postion will be titled Storekeeper 1st year only.

This role is responsible for receiving, shipping, packaging, labeling, and performing cycle counts for materials within our Transmission/Substation Warehouse. Leveraging strong computer skills, the position ensures accurate receipt, verification, and documentation of incoming materials, as well as the timely shipment of items supporting service centers across the territory. Using established material‑handling practices, this role also ensures the safe, organized, and efficient placement of materials throughout the warehouse and yard areas.

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Know and adhere to all company Safety rules and procedures.
  • Attend and participate in Safety meetings.
  • Receiving, and stocking of material inventory.
  • Conduct routine physical inventory.
  • Monitor and adjust automatic inventory replenishment levels.
  • Maintain communications with O.C. and Lineman on material requests and concerns.
  • Monitor bad order transformers.
  • Maximo data entry to charge material and maintain FERC required files.
  • Coordinate resolution of problems with vendors.
  • Identify, inspect, prepare, and process materials for salvage or disposal.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly stores facility.
  • Load and unload trucks.
  • Must be willing to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accomodation.
  • Be willing and able to work under unusual surroundings, as well as the normal working conditions pertaining to this job.
  • Must be able to become an Environmental Champion and maintain Environmental records associated with Stores operations.
  • Be available for out-of-town storm response due to providing support to TX, LA, & MS.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Minimum education required of the position:

Desired: High school diploma/GED

Minimum experience required of the position:

Storekeeper 1st year: 1-year of previous Storeroom experience

Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position:

  • Operate forklifts and overhead cranes.
  • Perform basic math calculations.
  • Learn identity and nomenclature of standard electric utility material.
  • Basic Computer operation knowledge
  • Have a working knowledge of Maximo and other stores related software and applications.
  • Ability to drag or roll 110 lb. Coils of wire
  • Ability to lift 60-80 lbs.
