It takes teamwork to bring customer smiles and community spirit to more than 1,800 retail stores across Australia. Whether you’re instore, on the road delivering orders or behind the scenes, you’ll find plenty of ways to make a difference every day. What’s more, you’ll be part of a team that’s just as diverse as the communities we serve. With the right ingredients like a supportive and fun culture, opportunities to learn and grow, and valuable first-hand experiences and skills, set yourself up for an ongoing career.
About the Role
As a Stocktake Team Member, you’ll help ensure accurate stock counts across Coles Supermarket and Liquorland stores, supporting smooth store operations.
Starting at 5am and usually finishing before lunchtime, this role suits early risers with strong attention to detail. You’ll travel to different store locations across [REGION], working with your Stocktake Supervisor to complete precise counts in assigned areas. No two days are the same, you won’t be working in just one store.
You’ll be on the move, travelling to different stores each day, with some locations harder to access via public transport, especially for early starts. You’ll also need to transport your safety step, so access to a vehicle and a valid driver’s licence is preferred.
Hours can vary depending on the stores scheduled each week, with shifts typically between 5:00am and 11:00am. This role is ideal if you’re looking for a couple of shifts a week, with up to no more then 10 hours a week. As the role includes counting liquor stock, applicants must be 18 or older.
We’re continuing to build a gender equitable team, and a culture that is just as diverse, inclusive and welcoming as the communities we serve. We are committed to creating a workplace that is safe and respectful for our team. We encourage applications from people of all ages, cultures (including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples), abilities, sexual orientation and gender identities.
We’re happy to adjust our recruitment process to support candidates with disability. For further information and additional contact details visit the ‘Our Recruitment Process’ section of our careers site or email inclusionrecruitment@coles.com.au
