Store Merchandiser

Southern/Central California . Part-time Merchandising

Store Merchandiser

The Retail Merchandiser role provides merchandising coverage to achieve superior in-store

results for the assigned retail territory. Point-of-sale interaction is required and the ability to impact sales positively. Day shift (7 am to 4 pm, some Saturdays). Personal vehicle is required Monthly mileage reimbursement will be provided.

Primary Job Responsibilities

1. Build & maintain professional relationships with store management & associates.

2. Set up & maintain in-store planograms.

3. Responsible for new product implementation on store shelves.

4. Ability to work under minimal supervision.

Requirements

Experience & Skills

• Must have own personal vehicle
• Must have a valid driver license for California
• One year of previous experience in retail sales or merchandising
• Bilingual Spanish; preferred
• Comfortably interacting with the public
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Professional appearance & demeanor
• Able to lift 25 pounds or more
• Familiar with Excel & Word
• Good vision and ability to operate a calculator, telephone, and copier
• Willing and able to work in refrigerated and freezer sections of the retail store
• Stand and/or walk for long periods

Salary and Benefits

1. Salary: $20 Per Hour. 20-30 hours per week.
2. Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, 401k, paid time off, and paid holidays.
3. Monthly mileage reimbursement will be provided.
