Store Manager required for a successful and expanding retail group based in Balla, Co. Limerick
We are seeking a dedicated Store Manager to join our award-winning retail group. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store including our busy Food Service Departments, managing staff, and ensuring excellent customer service.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a passion for retail, and a drive for success.
The Role:
Oversee daily store operations
Ensure operational excellent in our Food Service Departments
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
Implement sales strategies to drive revenue
Supervise, train and assist employees like Sales Representatives and Retail Store Clerks in customer service, store maintenance and product promotions.
Maintain proper inventory levels, ensure stocking, implement purchasing plans and maintain contact with suppliers to ensure maximum efficiency in meeting sales goals.
Implement cross-training of employees and Assistant Managers to always maintain productivity.
Weekly Rosters and Team Meetings
Manage all controllable costs, maintaining profitability. Including payroll
Ensure the store always remains clean and presentable.
Hire and train as needed to ensure adequate personnel is on hand to provide outstanding customer service.
The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:
Minimum of 2-3 years retail management experience
Ability to work on own initiative
Excellent interpersonal skills
Passion for providing excellent customer services
Understanding of employment, health & safety, HACCP, and consumer legislation
Committed to continually improving standards
Self-motivated & ambitious
Computer literate
