Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Store Manager to manage the daily operations of our warehouse and store for façade, glass, and aluminium materials. The candidate will be responsible for inventory control, material receiving and issuing, stock reconciliation, proper storage, and coordination with procurement, project, and site teams to ensure timely material availability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily store and warehouse operations for glass, aluminium profiles, accessories, hardware, sealants, and other façade materials.
  • Receive, inspect, verify, and record incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery notes.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and update stock movements in the ERP system or Excel.
  • Issue materials to production and site teams based on approved material requisitions.
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the procurement department for timely replenishment.
  • Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Ensure proper storage, identification, handling, and preservation of glass panels, aluminium profiles, and accessories.
  • Maintain minimum and maximum stock levels and identify slow-moving, damaged, or obsolete materials.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports.
  • Ensure proper documentation of GRNs, material issue notes, delivery notes, and stock transfer records.
  • Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, production teams, procurement, and suppliers.
  • Maintain housekeeping, safety standards, and organized storage areas.
  • Supervise storekeepers and helpers and ensure compliance with company procedures.

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of material codes, specifications, and project-wise inventory tracking.
  • Experience handling high-value and fragile materials, particularly glass.
  • Ability to coordinate material dispatches and deliveries to project sites.

Requirements

  • Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • 10 - 12+ years of experience in stores or warehouse management, preferably in the façade, glass, aluminium, or construction industry.
  • Good knowledge of aluminium profiles, glass materials, façade accessories, hardware, and sealants.
  • Experience in inventory management, stock reconciliation, and material documentation.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/inventory management systems.
  • Strong organizational, coordination, and team-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple material requests and meet project deadlines.
  • Good communication skills in English.
