The Breakdown:

We are looking for an experienced Store Manager for our Store. The Store Manager is responsible for achieving store sales goals and ensuring the highest standards of customer service. Snowboarding is a social sport, and as part of this team, you’ll be the direct connection between consumers and our brand.  We are passionate about riding, knowledgeable about the products that make the experience event better, and above all, stoked to share the excitement and expertise.  Our stores are designed to get customers amped on riding, and offer an exciting, fast-paced work environment.

What You Get to Do:

  • Provide a superior customer experience for all Burton guests
  • Hire, manage, train and develop all store staff
  • Apply and teach effective selling strategies to associates
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels and low shrink levels
  • Merchandise product throughout the store and keep the store looking “fresh” while executing visual merchandising directives
  • Manage daily operations of successful Retail store with controlled expenses
  • Execute in-store events to build your community and drive foot traffic into the store
  • Manage the store social media content
  • Ensure all operational policies and procedures are followed and maintained at all times

What You’ll Bring to the Team:

  • 5-8 years of Retail experience in a large volume retail environment, with at least 3 years of direct store manager responsibility
  • Strong operational, organizational and analytical skills
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills across multiple levels
  • Passion for Snowboarding

Physical Requirements

  • Continually able to stand/walk for extended periods of time, necessary to provide sales floor coverage related to customer service and loss prevention
  • Continually able to reach overhead, bend, squat, kneel, and carry product, necessary for customer service, inventory re-stock, and store merchandising
  • Continually able to walk up and down staircase, carrying boxes, product, and other necessary store related items
  • Ability to regularly perform store maintenance items: sweep, vacuum, empty trash, clean
  • Ability to safely lift boxes up to 50 lbs
  • Comfortable climbing ladders
