Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Store Manager to join our team at SPAR Glasthule.

This store is located in a coastal suburban neighbourhood, a busy store year round with a high turnover and volumes which operates to a consistently high standard. The role primarily involves a 45 hour working week scheduled over 5 days with occasional weekends shifts required dependending on the needs of the business.The ideal candidate must be available for a 6am start time and be flexible to work additional hours when needed. Relevant trade management experience would be preferable

The successful candidate will commence the role in August or September, with a couple of months dedicated to a smooth handover process with the current manager. You will have the opportunity to work alongside a supportive retailer and lead an experienced team of 28 staff which includes 4 Supervisors.

SPAR Glasthule is a neighborhood store situated within an affluent residential area, offering a convenient shopping experience to the local community. The store also features a post office, adding to its diverse range of services. The successful candidate must lead with an excellent customer service ethos and drive the business with a firm focus on productivity and people skills.

• Location: SPAR Glasthule

• Working Hours: 6am-3pm over 5 days with occasional weekends/ bank holidays required when needed.

• Start Time: 6am

• Commencement: August/September with a handover period
