Böhme, LLC is a leading lifestyle retailer that markets and sells trendy, fashionable clothing, providing high-quality merchandise at affordable prices. Our collection includes modern basics like jeans, chic T's as well as stylish assortment of accessories, outerwear, and footwear.

Böhme was founded by Vivien and Fernanda Böhme, two sisters from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil who immigrated to the United States as young girls. With the usual struggles of an immigrant family, work was inevitable from an early age. Their strong work ethic, dedication, and passion for success lead to them opening Böhme in 2006 at just 23 & 24 years old. Böhme is led by Vivien’s mind for business as CEO and Fernanda’s eye for design as Creative Director. Today we have store locations across the western US and employ over 200 women.

We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of our retail location. In this role, you will be the driving force behind financial growth, exceptional customer experiences, and a motivated, high-performing team. The ideal candidate blends sharp business acumen with a people-first leadership style, ensuring the store meets its revenue targets while maintaining a welcoming, on-brand environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business & Financial Performance: * Drive sales revenue and profitability to meet or exceed monthly and annual targets.
    • Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) like conversion rates, average basket size, and labor spend to optimize store performance.

  • Team Leadership & Development:
    • Recruit, hire, train, and mentor a diverse team of assistant managers and sales associates.
    • Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-energy work culture built on accountability and recognition.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews and build a strong internal pipeline for promotion.
  • Customer Experience & Brand Standards:
    • Lead by example on the sales floor, delivering top-tier customer service and resolving complex issues gracefully.
    • Ensure visual merchandising standards are consistently executed according to corporate guidelines.
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shopping environment for both customers and staff.
  • Operations & Compliance:
    • Oversee daily opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and bank deposits.
    • Manage staff scheduling to balance labor budgets with peak shopping hours.
    • Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and employment regulations.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: 2+ years of retail management experience (as a Store Manager or high-volume Assistant Manager).
  • Leadership: Proven track record of recruiting, coaching, and retaining high-performing teams.
  • Financial Literacy: Strong understanding of retail KPIs.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to connect with both corporate leadership and floor staff.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and make quick, data-driven decisions.
  • Availability: Flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays as business dictates.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand and walk the sales floor for extended periods and lift/move merchandise up to 30 lbs.

What We Offer (Benefits & Perks)

  • Competitive base salary with performance-based bonus incentives.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits.

About böhme

MEET THE BÖHME SISTERS

Raised in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil, we moved to Utah at only 9 years of age. Vivien was always interested in numbers and could make a financial spread sheet at age 11, proving to our parents they could indeed afford a bicycle... and Fernanda was always creative and built artistic displays. With the usual struggles of an immigrant family new to the U.S., work was inevitable from an early age. Years later, after the stars aligned and our auras were the right color, our hard work paid off with opening a women’s fashion apparel business.

As a startup, we had to bootstrap our way through things and be creative with what we had. We only had a credit card to fund us along with some faith. Soon, Böhme became #1 for sales per sq. ft. and the chain grew into multiple stores. The thing we learned most over the years in business was to trust our gut feeling. In Böhme, we value creativity above all other business skills; breaking all the rules along the way.

Today the chain has grown to 16 store locations throughout the Midwest, along with an online store. We were named Top Women-Run Business, listed in Inc.500 Fastest Growing Companies, The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Us Weekly, Salt Lake Magazine, Utah Business and Cosmopolitan Magazine. Recently named one of the Wasatch Front Top Workplaces, our company employs over 200 women. As a core foundation to invest in our communities, Böhme donates yearly to battered women’s shelters.

Our passion for success still drives our company today.

Beijos! xoxo
