Position SummaryWe are seeking a dynamic, organized, and community-minded Store Manager to oversee all operational, administrative, and donation-related activities for our retail store. This role is responsible for ensuring smooth daily operations, financial accountability, staff and volunteer leadership, and strong community engagement. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering excellent customer experiences while supporting our mission.
This is a fulltime position, 37.5 hours per week and the schedule is as follows: Tuesday - Saturday 8:30am - 4:30pm.
Key Responsibilities:
Store Operations & Facilities
- Oversee day-to-day store operations including inventory control, pricing, displays, and fixture maintenance
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment for customers, staff, and volunteers
- Plan and manage store layout, merchandising, and advertising displays
- Coordinate special sales and promotions
Financial & Administrative Oversight
- Supervise daily cash operations including register activity, receipts, deposits, and recordkeeping
- Prepare monthly and ad hoc operational and financial reports in collaboration with the Finance Department
- Manage vouchers and monitor store income and expenditures to ensure fiscal stability
- Oversee the store’s eBay account and MSP online store
Merchandise & Donations
- Coordinate all in-kind donations and clothing collection bins with local corporations, schools, and organizations
- Inspect merchandise to ensure accurate pricing and appealing presentation
- Recommend merchandise additions and deletions to optimize sales
- Oversee or ensure proper disposal of damaged or unsellable items
Staff & Volunteer Leadership
- Provide overall direction, supervision, and evaluation of store staff and volunteers
- Recruit, train, and support staff and volunteers in sorting, pricing, display standards, and customer service
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing team environment
Customer & Community Relations
- Address customer concerns and resolve issues professionally to maintain strong community relationships
- Work with the CBDO to develop and implement marketing, advertising, and community outreach strategies
Safety & Professional Development
- Ensure safety procedures are followed for customers, staff, and volunteers
- Maintain and enhance professional knowledge through ongoing training and education.

Qualifications- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Two years experience in retail store operations and management, including staff supervision.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft 365. Must be able to navigate through electronic health records system (EHR).
- Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license. Must maintain an acceptable driving record and be insurable at a reasonable rate under the Organization’s auto insurance plan.
