Job Category: RetailThe Stocking and Maintenance (SAM) associate is responsible for maintaining the store’s beverage and beer coolers by stocking products, maintaining a clean, safe work area, monitoring inventory levels, placing necessary orders in accordance to company planograms and manager’s directive and assuring all products are merchandised to company standards.

Responsibilities and Duties:
- Manage vendor relationships and processes
- Understand proper vendor check-in procedures and resolve discrepancies
- Stock beverage coolers and beer displays with correct products
- Apply FIFO (First In, First Out) practices to maintain product freshness and reduce waste
- Monitor and control inventory based on sales trends and promotional periods; develop PAR levels for all items and vendors
- Maintain organized and clean back-stock areas, including sweeping, mopping, and adhering to safe stacking and weight guidelines
- Ensure all pricing and signage are accurate, clean, and clearly visible
- Maintain compliance with alcohol regulations and licensed area requirements
- Utilizing CAO (Computer Automated Ordering) for all applicable vendors and perform regular spot checks to ensure inventory accuracy
- Support overall store cleanliness inside and outside, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, spill cleanup, restroom upkeep, and trash removal
- Deliver customer service in accordance with company standards

Qualifications
- Ability to lift and move up to 40-50 pounds regularly
- Ability to work in cold environments for extended periods of time
- Basic organization and inventory management skills
- Attention to detail and cleanliness
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated to assure task completion when working independently
- Previous experience in retail, stocking, vendor management preferred
