Reporting direct to the Director of Operations is responsible for managing day to day store operations and supervisory/management staff. Direct reports include: Assistant Store Mgrs., MOD’s, Department Heads, Pricing Coordinator, and Receiving Clerk.May directly perform duties/functions performed by direct reports when required.
BASIC FUNCTION Effectively/efficiently manage, direct, coordinate all phases of store operations to obtain/maintain optimal sales and meet targeted projections/goals through effective utilization of facilities, resources and personnel. Promotes and maintains positive customer, community and employee relations. Maintains high standards of employee morale and promotes team cooperation.

1. Comprehensive working knowledge of over-all store operations, departments, practices and procedures.
2. Management/supervisory experience required with sound human relations experience.
3. Able to work efficiently/effectively in a fast paces multi changing work environment.
4. Possess math skills necessary to deal with planning, pricing, scheduling, margins, percentages and basic financial/accounting functions within areas of responsibility.
5. Excellent management, administrative, team building, mentoring, organization, coordination, attention to detail and follow through skills.
6. Excellent presentation, communication and public relations skills.
7. Proficient PC skill with related spread sheet and software applications experience.
8. Able to do limited travel for Conventions, special meetings, product shows, etc.
9. Effectively work with people of varied socioeconomic backgrounds.
10. Able to represent Store as a member of a community civic organization.
11. Able to work varied hours and shifts as required.
EQUIPMENT/TOOLS OPERATED Proficient skill in operation of standard store and office equipment which includes fax, multi-phone line equipment, PC, copy machine, calculator, printers, etc.
