Job Description

Morgan Memorial Goodwill Industries' mission is to help individuals with barriers to self-sufficiency to achieve independence and dignity through work. Not charity, but a chance.

Drive a 26 foot straight truck – Non CDL to transport and deliver processed goods to our retail locations. This would also include bringing back salvage and supplies from our retail locations to the plant. Additional duties may include unloading trailers of donated goods and property and doing special corporate donation pick-ups.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. • Delivers prepared goods to retail locations.
• Returns salvage and supplies from the stores to the plant.
• Picks up corporate and customer donations as needed.
• Provides a high level of customer service to our internal and external customer base
• Keeps track of vehicle maintenance, repairs, and state inspection.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Any level of education with the ability to read, write and communicate
• Valid MA Drivers License (Class D) with a good driver’s record.
• DOT Health Card (MEC)
• Satisfactory results of all required background checks.

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls, and talk or hear.
• The employee is frequently required to push/pull hampers of merchandise on wheels up to 250 pounds. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 70 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include depth perception, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust vision to bring objects into focus.
• Position requires standing for long periods of time.
