Company Introduction

T&T Supermarket Inc. was found in 1993 with two stores in BC. Since then, it has expanded rapidly to become Canada’s largest Asian supermarket chain with 27 stores across the country: 12 in Metro Vancouver, 6 in Alberta, and 9 in Ontario (7 in GTA and 1 in Ottawa, 1 in Waterloo).

Major Responsibilities:

1. Manages and pick customer’s orders
2. Operates scanners to properly pick orders and accurately manage inventory
3. Follow procedures to accurately pick items from the shelves based on but not limited to: number, size, colour, quantity, and quality requirements
4. Pack items for shipping and ensure orders are accurately picked
5. Place package orderly for delivery
6. Ensure safety regulations are followed and operates handling equipment
7. Plan and monitor product storage and dispatch
8. Maintain a high level of health and safety standards
9. Shrink wraps products to pallets
10. Performs any other general store duties as needed

4. Good attendance record, comply with company’s rules and regulations

Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements:

1. Previous experience working in a warehouse or retail environment preferred
2. Experience working with an RF Scanner and computerized order system preferred.
3. Keen attention to detail, ability to lift heavy objects
4. Ability to stand on your feet for long periods of time
5. Good communication, positive attitude; self-motivated; safety conscious
6. Ability to work in a fast paced, busy environment, in a team as well as independently
