The key goal of the Beverage Associate at QuickChek is to deliver fast. friendly, exceptional service to all customers through Total Customer Dedication (TCD). The Beverage Associate is responsible for a specific area of the store and has responsibilities including maintaining in-stock conditions, following planograms, packing out product, and maintaining a clean department.

In the absence of the Store Leader, reports to the Shift Leader in charge
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional customer service and tend to customers in a prompt. efficient. friendly manner
Keep department stocked according to planogram
Sweep. mop. and clean. as necessary
Keep beverage area neat and orderly
Practice proper techniques for cash handling, timekeeping, and all other procedures
Ensure all displays are to standard and signage is correct
Keep up-to-date on new policies and procedures
Attend all mandatory/scheduled store meetings
Price and pack out beverage deliveries
Practice Loss Prevention policies
Additional Responsibilities/Requirements:
Must be a team player and be able to communicate effectively with customers and Team Members
Must respond to customers and daily tasks with a sense of urgency
Must arrive timely and have an excellent attendance record
Cross-train. as needed, to assist in other areas of the store including Checkout Area, Food Service, Service Beverage, and Fuel
Open and honest in communications
Must wear proper uniform, including name badge, at all times
Maintain sanitation and cleanliness standards
Completion of required training programs and learning activities
Personal behaviors must align with OuickChek's values
Must have reliable transportation to and from work
Ability to maintain OuickChek grooming and hygiene standards
Ability to perform basic math calculations
Ability to speak, read, write, and understand basic English
Must be alert and attentive; impairment for any reason is not permitted
