1. AWS Cloud Storage Native Tool Migration and modernization experience (FSX NetAPP Ontap is a must have)
Cloud Storage Lead Contractor responsible for leading the design, implementation, and operational management of enterprise cloud storage solutions, with a primary focus on AWS. This role will drive storage strategy, architecture, automation, resiliency, and performance optimization, including leading FSx for NetApp ONTAP (FSx ONTAP) implementations in AWS to support large-scale application and data migrations. The contractor will partner closely with infrastructure, cloud, security, and application teams to deliver secure, scalable, and cost-effective storage platforms, provide technical leadership for cloud transformation initiatives, and establish operational best practices across hybrid and cloud-native environments. Experience with Azure storage services is beneficial but not required.

This role will be to help transition into more cloud native storage. AWS specifically for all of their services. EBS, EFS, FSX for windows, and the scope of the work/driving force is this customer is exiting Data centers and migrating storage, apps, databases into AWS. A lot of the storage team is focused on on-prem storage. Liasons, windows storage clusters is what is currently running and those are moving to AWS native storage types. Our customer is looking for someone to assist in building a FSX netapp ontap storage virtual machine and migrating all storage to AWS cloud. Having an aws storage skill set along with FSX netapp ontap flavor would be huge.

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $70.00/hr.
