Key responsibilities

Candidate to have 7 to 10 years of experience in administration of Storage & Backup areas with Storage as primary skill.

Experience with QNAP, Fabric interconnect, zoning would be an asset.

Experience in working on associated tools of Dell Storage & Backup solutions.

Installing, configuring and maintaining Dell Storage & Backup solutions.

Monitoring and troubleshooting Storage & Backup environments, ensuring high availability and performance of platforms.

Implementing and managing backup and disaster recovery solutions to protect data and ensure business continuity in case of system failures.

Identifying, diagnosing, and resolving hardware and software issues related to Storage and Backup products and related systems.

Creating and maintaining documentation for configurations, troubleshooting steps, and standard operating procedures.

Working with other IT professionals, such as network administrators, database administrators, and application developers, to ensure smooth operation of the IT infrastructure.

Ability to communicate technical information clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with other IT professionals.

Ability to work on project tasks and regular BAU tasks based on ITIL best practices.

Understanding of security best practices and the ability to implement security measures.

Basic scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Ansible) can be helpful for automation and system administration tasks.

Mandatory:

• Ability to work on SAN/NAS of Dell PowerStore, PowerVault, PowerScale, PowerProtect Data Manager areas as primary skills and in Dell Networker and Avamar as secondary skills.

Nice to have:

• Certifications in Dell Storage, Networker & Avamar
