About this opportunity:
Join as a Storage Systems Administrator to manage and support enterprise storage environments (IBM, Pure Storage, EMC VMAX/PowerMax, HPE 3PAR), SAN fabric (Cisco MDS/Brocade), and backup/recovery (EMC NetWorker/Data Domain), delivering reliable storage services and customer-facing solutions.
What you will do:
Install, configure, monitor, and maintain enterprise storage arrays and SAN switches. Manage backup and recovery operations, including performing backups and restores. Plan capacity and tune performance to meet service levels. Implement and manage replication solutions (e.g., SRDF, SnapMirror) and other data-protection features. Apply firmware and patch upgrades while minimizing service disruption. Troubleshoot storage, SAN, and backup issues and raise OEM support tickets when required. Collaborate with IT teams and customers to provision storage and deliver customer-facing solutions. Follow change-management processes and contribute to disaster recovery planning.
The skills you bring:
Hands-on experience with IBM storage (FlashSystem, XIV, Spectrum Scale, DS). Experience with Pure Storage FlashArrays. Experience with EMC platforms (VMAX/PowerMax, XtremIO, Unity) and/or HPE 3PAR. Strong knowledge of SAN fabric technologies, especially Cisco MDS and Brocade. Expertise in backup/recovery tools and appliances, notably EMC NetWorker and Data Domain. Proven troubleshooting skills, capacity planning, and performance tuning experience. Familiarity with replication technologies (SRDF, SnapMirror) and DR practices. Experience with firmware/patch management, change control, and raising OEM tickets. Clear customer-facing communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
