We pride ourselves on our commitment to excellence, innovation, and customer satisfaction. We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Technician to join our growing team.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Install, program, start up, check out, certify, and provide customer training on assigned projects
Run wiring, install hardware, and field terminate all devices
Inspect and test systems, batteries, and wiring; adjust and repair as needed
Replace malfunctioning hardware when necessary
Ensure all installations comply with Stone Security standards and industry regulations
Read and interpret basic blueprints, schematics, manuals, and specifications to determine installation procedures; may require assistance with more complex specifications
Maintain a clean and safe work environment at job sites
Perform other related duties as required
Travel as needed for project assignments
Work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team, with opportunities to grow as Stone Security grows
Qualifications/Skills:
Active EL06 license required
Minimum 3 years of experience installing network camera systems (Milestone, Axis, Hanwha, Bosch)
Minimum 3 years of experience installing security systems (DMP, Bosch)
Minimum 3 years of experience installing access control systems (Lenel, S2)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Proven track record of leading a security installation team
Aptitude for networking, computers, and general IT preferred
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required
3+ years of related work experience required
On-the-job training may be provided
Physical Requirements:
Ability to use hand and power tools for hardware installation
Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders
Physically able to install system hardware and wiring
Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs at a time
