Star Lumber & Supply Co., Inc. has a long and distinguished history of providing products for the commercial and residential construction industry. Star expanded into the Oklahoma market in 2007 with its flooring sales showroom and serves the region with the same focus on customer service that has made Star Lumber successful for over 80 years.

Our Oklahoma City team has a cutting-edge countertop fabrication facility, and we are searching for an experienced CNC Operator to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to work in a collaborative team environment to create an efficient and productive manufacturing operation.

Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC machines to fabricate stone countertops according to specifications.
• Load and unload stone pieces onto CNC machines safely and efficiently.
• Monitor CNC machine operations to ensure quality and accuracy of cuts and finishes.
• Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and meet production targets.
• Inspect finished pieces for imperfections and make necessary adjustments.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Always adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines.

Requirements

• Previous experience operating CNC machines.
• Strong understanding of CNC programming and machining techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Basic computer skills for machine operation and data entry.
• Excellent attention to detail and quality control.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy stone pieces (up to 50 pounds).
• Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment for yourself and your team.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in countertop fabrication and polishing.
• Familiarity with different types of stone materials and their characteristics.
