Job Description

At The Warehouse Group, we’re not just about retail – we’re about creating experiences that make a difference for Kiwis every day. With over 10,000 team members across our iconic brands, we’re driven by innovation, customer connection, and helping our communities thrive.

This September, Noel Leeming is returning to the heart of Tāmaki Makaurau with something completely new – our first-ever concept store at Queen Street, Auckland CBD.

This isn’t just another store opening. It’s the future of retail.

Located at 192 Queen Street, just steps from the upcoming Te Waihorotiu CRL station, this immersive new space is designed to be a true destination for tech lovers. From interactive “try-before-you-buy” experiences and gaming events to exclusive product launches and expert-led demonstrations, we’re redefining what retail can look and feel like.

Hours of work:

  • Monday to Friday - 8:00am - 4:30pm

We’re looking for someone who thrives on keeping things moving, organised, and under control behind the scenes.

As a Storeperson, you’ll be helping out with everything stock-related – from receiving deliveries and managing inventory, to organising dispatch and helping out on the shopfloor when needed. Your work will help keep things running efficiently across the store.

This is a role where you'll stay active, problem-solve on the go, and make sure everything gets where it needs to be – safely, quickly, and with care.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Coordinating incoming and outgoing stock and customer order
  • Checking off deliveries and entering details into our inventory systems
  • Supporting with customer product repairs and transfers
  • Helping out on the shopfloor and assisting with customer queries when needed
  • Taking care of health and safety practices in the storeroom and beyond
  • Delivering product or setting up items for customers (when required)

Qualifications

Who we’re looking for:

You love a system and take pride in being the person others rely on to get the job done. You’re organised, reliable, and don’t mind rolling up your sleeves when there’s work to be done. Whether you’re in the storeroom or helping on the floor, you bring great energy and a focus on doing what’s right for the customer.

You’ll bring:

  • A strong eye for detail and time management
  • Confidence working with stock systems (or a willingness to learn)
  • Physical fitness and comfort with manual handling
  • Great communication and teamwork

About The Warehouse Group

The Warehouse Group (TWG) is a New Zealand success story, founded by Sir Stephen Tindall and evolved from a single The Warehouse store to become one of the largest retailing groups in New Zealand with $3 billion in sales. TWG consists of three core retail brands: The Warehouse, Warehouse Stationery, and Noel Leeming. We have over 180 retail stores, online stores as well as distribution centres throughout New Zealand. We also have two overseas sourcing offices located in China and India. We are a people-centred business with more than 10,000 team employees across our locations.

TWG is known for being Here for Good - it’s who we are and what keeps us focused to succeed. It represents our commitment to better living for all New Zealanders, through sustainable retail products and practices and the mission of contributing to the long-lasting health of our planet.

Over the years, we’ve raised over 50 million dollars for New Zealand communities and have contributed to countless community-focussed initiatives. We were the first company in New Zealand to add a Shielded Site link to the Women's Refuge website to help protect those experiencing family violence, and were a key supporter of the Government’s Family Violence Victims’ Protection Bill. We were New Zealand’s first large company and the third major retailer in the world to go carbon neutral.

While we are 40+ years old as a business, in many ways we feel we’re just getting started.
