Stockroom - Group Leader
The Stockroom Group Leader is an active member of the leadership team, working with team members to improve overall production operations by promoting productivity, quality, and safety on the manufacturing floor.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assisting supervisor in overseeing the performance of processes and employees in Price Electronics warehouse cell
• Managing production by ensuring all needed materials are delivered on time by working closely with the Planning and Leadership team.
• Troubleshooting issues with support of supervisors and the production team.
• Working with the team to develop an in-depth knowledge of the product line, utilizing documentation to capture critical-to-process information.
• Becoming a product expert.
• Implementing and championing lean initiatives.
• Coaching and collaborating with team members to ensure high-quality product is built/stored in a safe, cost-effective, timely manner.
• Ensuring group compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Participation in regular meetings.
• Excellent communication skills.
• The ability to work unsupervised in a fast-paced environment.
• The ability to work split or multiple shifts as required.
Qualifications:
• Previously worked in a manufacturing warehouse environment with a mandate for quality and customer service.
• A willingness and ability to learn technical requirements of multiple product lines.
• Experience in electronics and or a manufacturing warehouse environment
• Minimum 1 year of group leader experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• An aptitude for reading customer, supplier and engineering drawings.
• Strong leadership skills and an ability to effect and champion change.
• A proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing concepts is an asset.
• A post-secondary education is an asset.
