Summary: Stocker Assistant Lead - Full-Time
Join our team as a Stocker Assistant Lead, where you’ll help keep our store running smoothly and looking great. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys staying active, working with a team, and taking on leadership responsibilities.
What You’ll Do:
- Guide and support stockers during daily shifts
- Unload trucks and stock merchandise
- Keep shelves full, clean, and organized
- Help customers find products
- Maintain a safe and tidy backroom
- Communicate with management about inventory needs
- Train new employees
- Delegate duties to teammates
- Other responsibilities as needed
What We’re Looking For:
- A positive, dependable team player
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and be on your feet throughout the day
- Forklift Experience is preferred (we can train and certify you if not)
- Strong communication and leadership skills with a friendly demur
- Retail or stocking experience is a MUST: 1+years
You will be responsible for assisting in unloading trucks delivering merchandise, stocking shelves, and maintaining accurate inventory and maintain an orderly appearance in the store. You'll play an important role in ensuring that customers can find the products they need. As an Assistant Stocker Lead, you will be responsible for Impacting Lives Always and actively participating in the team to provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.
In this position, you will assist the Stocker Team Lead in providing support and hands-on productivity within the team.
The Assistant Stocker Lead will play a major role in communication amongst the merchandise team.

QualificationsRequired Skills/Abilities:
- Strong communication abilities
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Basic computer proficiency with the ability to learn company software
- Solid general math skills
- Understanding of basic workplace safety practices
Education and
Experience:
Prior experience working with inventory is must.
Previous experience working in retail or a hardware store is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
This position requires prolonged periods of standing, walking, and moving.
This position requires the ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly and often.
