Stocker (Part-Time, 32 Hours Per Week)

Position Overview

Ace of Montana is seeking a dependable and hardworking Stocker to join our team. This part-time position is scheduled for 32 hours per week and requires open availability, including the ability to work at least one weekend day.

We are looking for an individual who is reliable, safety-conscious, and enjoys working in a fast-paced retail environment. The ideal candidate will have forklift experience, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional service to both customers and fellow team members.

As a Stocker, you will play a key role in receiving merchandise, maintaining inventory accuracy, stocking shelves, and ensuring the store remains clean, organized, and fully stocked for our customers. Team members are expected to actively participate in daily huddles, communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors, and support our culture of Impacting Lives Always.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Receive and unload merchandise deliveries safely and efficiently.
• Operate a forklift and other material-handling equipment in accordance with company safety standards.
• Stock shelves and merchandise displays accurately.
• Ensure products are placed in the correct locations and properly faced.
• Organize and maintain inventory in both sales floor and backroom areas.
• Rotate merchandise and follow established inventory control procedures.
• Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Participate in daily team huddles and store communications.
• Assist customers by helping locate products and answering basic questions.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Required Skills/Abilities:

• Forklift certification and/or demonstrated forklift operating experience is required.
• Ability to safely unload trucks, move pallets, and transport merchandise throughout the facility.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic computer knowledge and ability to learn company software.
• General math skills.
• Strong understanding of workplace safety practices.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment.

Education and Experience

Previous experience working in retail or a hardware store is preferred.

Physical Requirements

This position requires prolonged periods of standing, bending, stretching, lifting, walking, and moving.

This position requires the ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly and often.
