London Borough of Lewisham is seeking an experienced and ambitious stock investment manager to lead the delivery of major housing investment programmes across our housing portfolio. This is a key leadership role within the Stock Investment and Asset Management service, responsible for managing significant planned maintenance, refurbishment, compliance and building safety programmes. Managing programmes ranging from £20 million-£70 million, you will oversee projects from inception through to completion, ensuring they are delivered safely, efficiently, within budget and in line with statutory and regulatory requirements. The roles also provides strategic support to the service and deputises for the Head of Stock Investment and Asset Management when required.

We are looking for an experienced housing, asset management or construction professional with a proven track record of delivering complex capital investment programmes. You will be a dynamic team player and problem solver with commitment to delivering high quality, compliant and cost-effective project outcomes within the public sector or social housing environment. Possess strong leadership skills, exceptional financial acumen, excellent stakeholder management skills and extensive knowledge and experience in delivering projects using various contract types.
The job is primarily based in Laurence House, Catford, London, SE6 4RU, but we operate a hybrid approach where you will be required to work both in the office and from home on a regular basis.

£67,083 - £71,961 per annum (SMG1)
N.B: All appointments will be offered at the minimum spinal column point (SCP) for the grade of the role. The only exception to this will be when matching current salary (up to the maximum of the scale), which is subject to evidential proof.
