Job Description

Stock Clerk

Our client is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Stock Clerk to support daily inventory operations and maintain an organized, clean, and efficient stockroom environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, accuracy in record-keeping, and a proactive approach to maintaining workplace standards.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Employees are required to report 15 minutes prior to the start of the workday for preparation and opening duties
  • Two (2) Saturdays per month: 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

  • Organize and maintain stockroom inventory in a systematic and accessible manner
  • Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming goods
  • Issue inventory items for daily operations as required
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records
  • Assist with periodic stock counts and inventory audits
  • Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of the stockroom and office areas
  • Empty office bins and maintain general workspace cleanliness each morning
  • Support general operational needs as directed by management

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 CSEC subjects, including Mathematics and English
  • Previous experience in inventory, stock control, or a similar role is an asset
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and follow instructions
  • Basic record-keeping or data entry skills
  • Physically able to lift and move stock items as required

Additional Terms

  • Saturdays form part of the standard work schedule
  • Employees may be required to perform additional duties within the reasonable scope of the role
