Examples of duties

This position focuses on receiving, storing, and issuing a wide range of materials and supplies, along with simple recordkeeping tasks that keep the storeroom running smoothly. As a Stock Clerk 1, you will perform the following duties:

• Receiving Goods: Receive, unpack, check, and record incoming materials and confirm accuracy with purchase information
• Stock Handling: Store items in correct locations and withdraw goods based on required type, size, and lot
• Order Assembly: Assemble stock based on computerized requisition orders, then pack and load shipments
• Tool Management: Store, issue, and maintain tools and equipment while keeping accurate daily records
• Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts, hand trucks, and other equipment to move heavy or oversized materials
• Inventory Tasks: Take or assist in taking physical inventories of stock

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• Full-time employment
• Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
• Shift work will be required during winter months
• Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

• Graduation from high school; or
• A ny equivalent combination of experience and training.
