Job Description

Acne Studios is a progressive luxury house and through collaboration and curiosity, we set high aspirations and strive for excellence. We value everyone’s contribution and embrace feedback to develop ourselves and others. We aim to minimise our environmental impact across all our operations and to address societal challenges in the way we conduct our business.

As a Stock Associate in our Serravalle Outlet Pop-up (6 to 7 month period), you will work collaboratively with your team to establish and nurture loyal and engaging customer relationships, drive sales and positive business outcomes in which your service and attentiveness take center stage.

CULTURE OF COLLABORATION

We firmly believe that when you feel supported, included, and trusted, it enables you to enjoy your work and thrive in it. You will be a part of a team of colleagues with diverse roles and backgrounds, each with their unique skills and experiences.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Your main contribution will be to collaborate with the Store Manager to plan activities and take actions based on analyses of KPIs. To ensure your success in this role, we provide training and coaching in luxury sales, management, and clienteling, according to our cutting-edge approach to client experience.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Receiving & Processing Deliveries

    • Accurately receive and unpack incoming shipments, checking quantities and item condition against delivery notes.
    • Report any discrepancies, damages, or missing items to the Stock Supervisor or Store Management.
    • Ensure all merchandise is properly labeled, tagged (including security tagging), and entered into the stock system if required.

    Replenishment & Floor Support

    • Ensure timely and efficient replenishment of the shop floor to maintain product availability and support sales.
    • Coordinate with the Sales and Visual Merchandising teams to prioritize key items, novelties, and bestsellers.
    • Replace sold-through items and maintain a clean, organized presentation in stock-related zones.

    Stockroom Organization

    • Maintain a well-organized, clean, and compliant stockroom at all times, following company standards.
    • Group products logically by category, collection, or style to optimize efficiency and minimize stock search time.
    • Assist with zoning of new deliveries and isolating novelties or promotional items.

    Inventory Accuracy & Stock Control

    • Support regular cycle counts and full-store inventories to ensure stock accuracy.
    • Help identify and investigate stock variances, damaged items, or misplaced products.
    • Assist with stock transfers (inter-store or returns to warehouse) and markdowns, ensuring proper documentation.

    Visual Merchandising Support

    • Collaborate with Visual Merchandising during floor changes: isolate new collections, remove excess or off-season stock, and prepare products for new displays.
    • Ensure the backstock for high-rotation or promotional items is easily accessible for the VM and sales teams.

    Loss Prevention & Security

    • Follow all Loss Prevention procedures, including checking delivery contents, securing high-value stock, and managing stockroom access.
    • Remain vigilant and report any suspicious behavior or inconsistencies.

    Team Collaboration & Flexibility

    • Work closely with the Stock Supervisor and wider store team to support operational efficiency.
    • Be flexible and ready to assist on the shop floor during busy periods or store events.
    • Maintain a proactive and positive attitude in a fast-paced retail environment

WHO YOU ARE

You have high aspirations and focus on details that create substantial impact. You enjoy working as a team and you embrace feedback to develop yourself and others. You are curious and thrive in a dynamic environment. Cooperation, respect, and clear communication are important, along with your ambition to learn and grow. If these qualities speak to you, we would love to have you on our team.

Specific personal qualities for this role:

  • Previous experience in a stockroom, warehouse, or retail environment preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Able to work quickly and efficiently, both independently and as part of a team.
  • Comfortable with physical tasks, including lifting and standing for long periods.
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and early mornings.
  • Basic understanding of stock systems and technology (scanners, tablets, etc.) is a plus.

What matters most to us is not whether you master all the listed knowledge and skills. We are dedicated to recognising the potential in each individual. We embrace diversity of people as well as ideas and viewpoints and encourage everyone's individual expression of their own identity.

We may perform background checks for this position.

About Acne Studios

Acne Studios is a Stockholm-based fashion house with a multidisciplinary approach. Through founder and Creative Director Jonny Johansson’s interest in photography, art, architecture and contemporary culture, an alternative path has been found, turning Acne Studios into a well-respected creator of ready-to-wear, magazines, furniture, books and exhibitions.

Acne Studios HQ is located in Stockholm, in a brutalist masterpiece that formerly housed the Czechoslovakian Embassy. Completely restored to facilitate a fashion school-like atmosphere, the overall aesthetic reflects the Acne Studios brand identity, telling the story of its history and global vision. Acne Studios also operates offices in Paris, Empoli, New York, Shanghai, and Tokyo.

Acne Studios has seen double-digit growth for most years since our inception. We operate through own distribution channels and wholesale partners with >60 own stores worldwide, including flagship stores in Stockholm, Paris, Milan, London, New York City, Los Angeles, Seoul, Tokyo, and Beijing. Each store has a unique distinctive character, yet with common key design elements reflecting the Acne Studios brand identity.

Following our ambitious sustainability work and focus on supplier relationships and longevity, Acne Studios has been independently verified as “Leader” by Fair Wear Foundation for six consecutive years.

Acne Studios is an official member of the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode since 2013.
