About the role:

The Assistant Stewarding Manageris responsible forleading and overseeing all stewarding operationsto ensure the department runs smoothly, efficiently, and in full alignment with Four Seasons standards. This role plays a critical part inmaintainingan impeccably clean and organized “heart of house” and kitchen environment, while supporting the broader Food & Beverage operation.

Key responsibilities include managing inventory and budgeting, ensuring the proper use and preventative maintenance of all machinery and equipment, and upholding all health and safety requirements. The Assistant Stewarding Manager also trains and supervises the Stewarding team, fostering a safe and collaborative workspace. Working closely with the Food & Beverage department—including the kitchen and banquet teams—as well as other heart-of-house teams, the Stewarding team plays a vital role in supporting smooth and efficient operations.The team embodies all Four Seasons cultural values while maintaining established standards, with professionalism expected at all times.This role reports to the Hotel’s Executive Chef.

What you will do:

  • Inventory Management: Overseeing inventory levels, managing supply orders, and monitoring breakage to ensure all operational needs are consistently met

  • Operational Support: Coordinating with the kitchen and banquet teams tomaintaincleanliness and provide essential equipment for food service

  • Equipment Management:Maintainingand tracking kitchen and dining equipment—includingchina, glassware, silverware, and supplies—to ensure itemsremainin excellent condition

  • Management/Supervision: Training and schedulingteam members whilemaintainingaccurateadministrative records

  • Sanitation:Ensuringcompliance with strict sanitation, food safety, and public health regulations

  • Communication/Teamwork: Developing,motivating , and supportingthe team to consistently meet and exceedoperationalstandards

What you bring:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment whilemaintainingstrong attention to detail.

  • Ability to stand forlong periodsof time andmaintainphysical mobility.

  • Strong understanding of sanitation techniques, cleaning chemicals, and industrial cleaning machinery.

  • Strong leadership skills, with experience managing a diverseteamand communicating effectively.

  • Two yearsof leadership experience in food handling, culinary, or stewarding roles preferred

  • Experience in a hotel or full-service restaurant is a plus
