Join Our Kitchen Team:
Massimo’s Italian Fallsview Restaurant is looking for a reliable and hardworking Steward/Dishwasher to join our kitchen team in Niagara Falls. This role is essential to keeping the kitchen running smoothly by maintaining high standards of cleanliness and ongoing availability of clean equipment/supplies and supporting the culinary team during busy service periods.

Wage: $17.60 - $22.60
Placement within the hiring range is based on skills, experience and accomplishments in comparable roles
Tasks may include, but are not limited to:
• Keep the dishwashing station and kitchen areas clean and organized
• Wash dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and cutlery using dishwashing equipment or by hand
• Inspect all items post-cleaning – for cleanliness – re-cleaning as required
• Remove broken or chipped dishes and notify the supervisor
• Restock clean dishes, glassware, and utensils in the appropriate storage areas
• Ensure the dishwashing machine is cleaned and maintained after each shift
• Sweep and mop dishwashing areas and kitchen floors
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and food safety
• Support the kitchen team with cleaning and organizational tasks as needed
• Assist with additional duties assigned by the Chef or supervisors
Qualifications:
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and organizational skills
• High energy and ability to respond quickly to changing work volumes
• Previous kitchen or dishwashing experience is an asset
• Ability to work safely and follow health, safety, and sanitation standards
• Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
