Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, crockery, cutlery, and work areas.
• Operate dishwashing and cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure clean items are properly stored and readily available for service.
• Maintain cleanliness in kitchens, loading areas, stores, and garbage rooms.
• Collect, separate, and dispose of waste according to hotel procedures.
• Support the kitchen team during meal periods, banquets, and events.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, health, and safety standards.
• Report damaged equipment, maintenance issues, and shortages to the supervisor.
• Assist with receiving, organizing, and storing kitchen supplies when required.
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and responsibly.

Desired Skill & Expertise

Qualifications and Experience

• Previous experience as a Steward or Kitchen Steward is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of kitchen hygiene and cleaning procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hotel environment.
• Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Reliable, hardworking, and a good team player.
