THE HOURLY RATE FOR THIS POSITION IS AT $19.00

We are pleased to announce a wonderful opportunity for a Steward.

What will you be doing most days?

As a Steward, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and back-of-house areas. Your responsibilities will include:

• Operating and maintaining the dishwashing machine to ensure proper sanitization.
• Washing all china, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils used in the restaurant, kitchen, and banquet areas.
• Ensuring all dishware and kitchen tools are properly stored and organized.
• Cleaning and sanitizing kitchen surfaces, including walls, floors, mats, and equipment.
• Assisting with the regular cleaning of ovens, refrigerators, and other kitchen appliances.
• Breaking down boxes and disposing of trash and recyclables in designated dumpsters.
• Monitoring dish machine temperatures to ensure compliance with sanitation standards.
• Keeping kitchen floors dry and free of debris to maintain a safe work environment.
• Assisting with receiving, unloading, dating, and storing food and supply deliveries.
• Supporting chefs and kitchen staff with basic prep tasks as needed (e.g., stocking stations, refilling supplies).
• Following all food safety and sanitation guidelines.

What are the requirements for this position?

• Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable stocking items on shelves above eye level.
• Capable of standing, walking, bending, and squatting for extended periods.
• Awareness of and adherence to kitchen safety and sanitation procedures.
• Team-oriented with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Physical Requirements for this Position

This can be a physically demanding position. You must be comfortable standing, sitting, walking, bending, lifting, and squatting for extended periods of time.

Travel Requirements

This position will require little to no travel outside the property and surrounding areas.
