Join Our Team as a Steward

At the Cambridge Suites Hotel, we know that a spotless kitchen is the foundation of exceptional dining experiences. We’re looking for a dependable and hardworking Steward to support our Food & Beverage team by maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, ensuring all glassware, silverware, china, cookware, and equipment are cleaned to an impeccable standard

• Follow all WHMIS guidelines and ensure proper usage, storage, and handling of cleaning supplies and chemicals

• Complete daily cleaning duties as outlined for each shift

• Operate and clean dishwashing machines and other job-related equipment safely and efficiently

• Receive deliveries from the loading bay and ensure proper storage and product rotation (FIFO)

• Maintain sanitation standards across kitchen and storage areas

• Communicate effectively with kitchen and Food & Beverage team members

• Report incidents, safety hazards, or equipment issues promptly

• Support the kitchen team with additional tasks as assigned by the Cook or Food & Beverage Manager

• Shifts typically begin at 6 AM

• Strong attention to cleanliness and detail

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• A team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills

• Knowledge of safe chemical handling (WHMIS certification is an asset)

• Availability to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays as required
