**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a Sterilization Technician to join our team. The Sterilization Tech will be responsible for sterilizing and maintaining cleanliness in medical facilities, ensuring that all equipment and instruments are safe and ready for patient use.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification in sterile processing or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of sterilization techniques and procedures
- Attention to detail and ability to follow strict protocols
- Strong organizational skills
**Responsibilities:**
- Sterilize equipment, instruments, and supplies using various methods such as steam autoclaving and chemical disinfection
- Inspect and assemble instrument trays, ensuring completeness and functionality
- Maintain sterilization records and logs
- Adhere to infection control guidelines and protocols
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to meet sterilization needs
- Monitor and track inventory of supplies and communicate any shortages
- Ensure a safe and clean work environment
**Other Requirements:**
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Willingness to adhere to all safety and health regulations
