Weekend Shift: Friday-Sunday 5am-5:30pm
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Support
Provide day-to-day leadership and direction to Sterilization Receiving personnel.
Assign work activities and monitor workloads to ensure operational priorities are met.
Serve as a resource for team members regarding procedures, systems, and problem resolution.
Assist with onboarding and training new employees.
Promote a positive work environment focused on teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Communicate departmental goals, priorities, and performance expectations.
Receiving Operations
Oversee the receipt, verification, and processing of sterilization inventory, products, and customer orders.
Ensure containers and shipments are received accurately and processed in a timely manner.
Monitor inventory movements and transaction accuracy within JDE, Apriso, and other business systems.
Coordinate with Planning, Transportation, Production, and Warehouse teams to support customer requirements.
Assist in prioritizing receiving activities to support production schedules and service commitments.
Move trailers to and from the dock doors using the yard truck.
Work on the floor with the team when necessary.
Other duties as assigned.
Quality & Compliance
Ensure compliance with all SOPs, work instructions, and company policies.
Verify documentation accuracy and completeness for received materials and inventory transactions.
Identify and report quality concerns, discrepancies, or non-conformances.
Safety
Promote and enforce safe work practices throughout the department.
Conduct routine safety observations and report safety concerns.
Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Participate in safety initiatives, training, and incident investigations.
Continuous Improvement
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and workflow processes.
Support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
Recommend process enhancements that improve productivity and efficiency.
Qualifications
Education
High School Diploma or GED required.
Associate degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred.
Experience
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in warehouse, receiving, logistics, manufacturing, or sterilization operations.
Previous leadership, lead, or supervisory experience preferred.
Experience with inventory management systems and ERP/MES systems
Forklift certification preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong leadership and team-building skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to analyze inventory discrepancies and resolve operational issues.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday.
Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
Ability to operate material handling equipment as required.
Ability to work in warehouse and production environments.
