What You'll Do

Inspection & Testing: Checks all reusable tools and devices for damage, cleanliness, and proper mechanical function.

Assembly & Packaging: Accurately builds and wraps instrument sets, trays, and medical supplies according to exact written instructions and manufacturer guidelines

What We're Looking For

• Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.
• Experience: One year of experience in a hospital Sterile Processing Department, preferred.
• Licensure/certification/registration: Sterile Processing Tech Certification, preferred.
• Additional Skills Required: Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Demonstrates knowledge of instrumentation and sterile/aseptic technique. Ability to read and comprehend written instructions to assemble instrument sets and trays. Ability to learn and understand medical terminology.
