What We Offer

Schedule Full time, Monday-Friday (no holidays, no weekends, no call or nights)

Sterile Processing experience needed

This role is responsible for providing clean, properly packaged, sterile instruments and supplies to meet individual customer needs.

Novant Health’s South Asheville Medical Plaza, where you will work alongside a multidisciplinary team committed to delivering safe, high-quality perioperative care. In this setting, you will play a vital role in supporting patients through critical points in their surgical experience, ensuring clinical excellence and continuity of care.


What You'll Do

  • Education: High School or GED, required.
  • Experience: One year of experience in a hospital Sterile Reprocessing Department, preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification: Sterile Processing Tech Certification, preferred.
  • Additional Skills Required: Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Demonstrates knowledge of instrumentation and sterile/aseptic technique. Ability to read and comprehend written instructions to assemble instrument sets and trays. Ability to learn and understand medical terminology.
