PRN Flex Sterile Processing Technician

PRN | Flexible Shifts

Tekgo is seeking experienced PRN Flex Sterile Processing Technicians to support multiple healthcare facilities within Chicago’s Lower Downtown Medical District This role is ideal for professionals who are comfortable floating between facilities, are highly adaptable, and are well-versed in both sterile processing and endoscope reprocessing

Key Responsibilities
-Perform all aspects of sterile processing: decontamination, assembly, sterilization, and distribution
-Execute endoscope reprocessing in compliance with AAMI, AORN, and facility standards
-Float between facilities as assigned within the medical district
Communicate effectively with OR and clinical teams

Required Qualifications
Minimum 2 Years Sterile Processing Technician experience (required)
-Hands-on endoscope reprocessing experience (required)
-CRCST, CSPDT, or equivalent certification required
-Strong knowledge of instrumentation, IFUs, and sterilization processes
-Ability to adapt quickly to different workflows and facility protocols
-Availability for PRN, on-call, and flexible shifts
-We offer flexible work schedules, but we prefer our on-demand team members to work at least one eight hour shift every four weeks.

-You must work at least one shift within 5 months to remain in our flexible talent pool.

-Flexible shifts (days, evenings, nights, weekends as needed)
-Floating between facilities within the Lower Downtown Medical District
