The successful candidate:

Hours are 11am - 9pm, 4x 10hr shifts, rotating off days

The Central Supply Technician performsand participatesin the decontamination, inspection, cleaning,
assembling and packaging of surgical materials to include, but not limited to, instruments and equipment
according to established standards and procedures to ensure a sterile and functioning supply of materials.

Education/Experience Level

  • High School Graduate or equivalent

  • Minimum 3 years Sterile Processing experience

  • Certification from the Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) or Certification from IAHCSMM as a Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) required

Knowledge and Skills

  • Proper cleaning, disinfecting, and sterilizing of equipment is necessary

  • Knowledge of proper sterilizing equipment reporting required
