STEM Project Coordinator (m/f/d)
(Part-time; 19.25 hours/week, limited; 19 months)
The Student Life and Support Department develops and implements programs that foster student growth, community engagement, and educational outreach. Through partnerships with schools and external stakeholders, the department supports a variety of STEM initiatives and activities. We are seeking a STEM Project Coordinator (m/f/d) to support and further develop these projects.
Your responsibilities:
Assistance with academic management (project implementation, project evaluation)
Further development of STEM projects and German school activities (e.g., Maker Space, MINTernational Workshops; MINT-EC High School network; MINTforum Bremen)
Coordination of respective workshops and events
Support with the acquisition of third-party funding
Coordination of external partner network and further network activities
General communication to students (development of online information, planning and organization of events)
Monitoring the activities and preparing relevant statistics and reports (project database)
Undertaking any associated administrative tasks as assigned
Your qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent)
General knowledge of office administration, including MS Office programs
Excellent written and spoken English and German
Ability to initiate and implement projects independently and as part of a team
Experience in working with high school and/or University students
Well-organized, detail‐oriented, and flexible
Highly motivated, creative and communicative with a keen interest in working in an international and dynamic environment
