As a Retail Associate at the Tacklebox, you’ll provide exceptional customer service, support merchandise operations, and ensure smooth retail transactions during daily shifts and event-based sales.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service on the sales floor and at the point of sale (POS).
- Operate the cash register, accurately handle all forms of payment, and reconcile transactions.
- Greet customers, offer assistance, and guide purchasing decisions based on customer needs.
- Maintain and control merchandise inventory and stock presentation.
- Set up and tear down retail locations for events, including merchandise and fixtures.
- Support visual merchandising standards through general upkeep and display maintenance.
- Assist team members to ensure efficient transactions and high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Follow company procedures for opening, operating, and closing the retail location.
- Take direction from supervisors and complete tasks thoroughly and promptly.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior retail, sales, or cash-handling experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Professional, friendly, and customer-focused demeanor.
- Ability to multitask and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Must demonstrate a high level of motivation and consistent energy throughout shifts.
- Comfortable working toward and meeting sales goals.
- Must be available to work 75% of the Idaho Steelheads games on the schedule.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, kneel, crouch, and move frequently throughout the shift.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
