Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Steel Structure Package Manager to join our team! In this role, you will lead the management of the structural steel package on complex hospitality and/or mixed-use development construction projects in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, ensuring successful execution from concept through design development, all construction phases, to close out and handover.
Project Initiation & Execution: Formally initiate the steel structure package, prepare project charters, project management plans (and subcomponents), and lead the procurement, execution, monitoring, and controlling of the project.
Risk & Contractual Management: Work with key project stakeholders to devise and execute action plans to rectify potential conflicts, coordination issues, delays, or significant scope, cost, and quality changes.
Stakeholder Coordination: Interface with Design, Engineering, Construction, Procurement, HSE, Finance & Budgeting, Planning & Performance, Network Operators, 3rd Parties, and client teams to ensure alignment across programs.
Monitoring & Reporting: Continuously monitor progress and present regular status reports, escalation briefings, and impact scenarios to senior management regarding significant milestones, costs, and schedule impacts.
Change Management: Manage, document, verify, and determine the impact of project change requests, advising the client accordingly.
Resource Allocation: Assign plan execution responsibilities to key subordinates based on an assessment of their qualifications and strengths.
Commercial & Quality Excellence: Promote technical and commercial excellence by enforcing Quality Assurance processes and managing stakeholder negotiations.
Meetings & Governance: Establish and chair regular progress meetings to review package status and track action items.
Strategic Support: Assist with long-term project and business planning while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the wider Program and Construction Team.
Other Duties: Perform additional responsibilities associated with this position as appropriate.
Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Science, BTEC Certificate in Management Studies , Business, or a related field.
Minimum of 15 years of experience in Construction Project Management.
At least 5 years specifically managing high-value design and construction projects (including contractor oversight, engineering, budgeting, planning, procurement, contracting, and scheduling).
Proven experience with technical integration, as well as complex structural steel procurement and construction activities.
Leadership & Growth: Proven ability to operate in a senior management capacity with a track record of growth in technical, fiscal, and managerial responsibilities.
Technical Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of industry practices, regulations, and current/emerging construction technologies.
Strategic Initiative: Superior judgment, initiative, and the capability to lead large-scale programs or multiple concurrent projects.
Communication & Relationship Management: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills; strong interpersonal traits to build client relationships while acting as an ambassador for the company.
