Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Shutterer to join our construction team. The role involves assembling, installing, adjusting, and dismantling formwork and shuttering systems for concrete structures, ensuring accurate and safe work in line with drawings and site requirements. Candidates should have previous shuttering/formwork experience, good attention to detail, teamwork skills, and a strong commitment to Health & Safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble, install, and dismantle formwork and shuttering systems according to drawings and specifications.
• Ensure formwork is properly aligned, levelled, braced, and secured before concrete pouring.
• Adjust and modify shuttering systems according to site requirements and tolerances.
• Safely operate hand and power tools and formwork equipment.
• Inspect work quality and report defects, misalignments, or safety concerns.
• Handle, store, and maintain formwork materials and equipment properly.
• Work with site teams to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
• Maintain good housekeeping and comply with Health & Safety, site procedures, and PPE requirements.
• Perform other related duties as required by management.

Requirements:

• TCN must have a valid Pre-departure course Certificate
• Previous experience installing or repairing steel shutters, doors, or similar metalwork.
• Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Physically fit and comfortable working at heights when required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
