About the Role

We're looking for a skilled and reliable Painter to join our team, working on the protective coating of structural steel. In this hands-on role, you'll take pride in delivering a high-quality finish on every job while working safely and efficiently in a busy industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Painting structural steel and applying protective coatings to the required specifications
• Mixing paint and other coating materials to the correct consistency
• Inspecting completed work to make sure it meets quality standards
• Ensuring the finished product is of a consistently high standard
• Following all safety regulations, procedures and guidelines
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and well organised work area
• Working independently as well as part of a team

About You

You're a hands-on, dependable tradesperson who takes pride in a quality finish. You understand the importance of doing the job right the first time, follow safety procedures without cutting corners, and bring a positive, can-do attitude to the workshop. Whether you're working on your own or alongside the team, you're someone others can rely on.

You will have:

• 3+ years' experience as a structural steel processor
• A background as a skilled labourer
• A strong understanding of paint application methods and techniques
• The ability to mix paint and coating materials to the correct consistency
• The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
