MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE TEAM LEADER
Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on rolling mill equipment (e.g., gearboxes, motors, hydraulic systems).
Assist in installing new equipment, machinery, and systems.
Assist in Troubleshoot mechanical issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions.
Assist Ensure compliance with safety protocols, regulations, and industry standards.
Inform rolling mill technicians on mass variance set by quality control.
Oversee the mechanical maintenance team, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely. Troubleshoot-related issues, making necessary adjustments and repairs to ensure
Develop and implement maintenance plans and schedules for machinery and equipment.
Adhere to safety regulations for working with heavy machinery, including lockout/tagout procedures and personal protective equipment (PPE).
Participate in safety training sessions, audits, and initiatives aimed at maintaining a safe work environment.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.
Prepare reports on maintenance metrics and present findings to management. Document all roll repairs and modifications, ensuring traceability for quality control purposes.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency in maintenance operations.
Provide technical guidance and support to team members during maintenance and repair activities.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Strong understanding of mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment operation.
Familiarity with various mechanical components, such as pumps, motors, and gear systems.
Minimum 3 years working experience, 2 years relevant working experience, 1 year GCC experience is a plus
