Position: Steel Fixer

Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Steel Fixer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in steel fixing and be able to work independently as well as part of a team. This is a full-time, permanent position with opportunities for growth and advancement within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret construction plans and blueprints to determine the layout and placement of steel bars
- Measure and cut steel bars to specific lengths using a variety of tools and equipment
- Bend and shape steel bars using manual or automated techniques
- Secure steel bars in place by tying, welding, or bolting them to structural elements
- Ensure that all steel bars are properly aligned and placed according to the specifications
- Use concrete pumps and cranes to lift and position heavy steel bars
- Inspect and repair damaged or defective steel bars as needed
- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines while working on construction sites
- Communicate with other team members and supervisors to ensure efficient and timely completion of projects
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a steel fixer in the construction industry
- Knowledge of construction materials, tools, and techniques used in steel fixing
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints
- Strong mathematical skills and ability to accurately measure and cut steel bars
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Valid safety certifications and training preferred
